THE WILLOWSHED
homesteading & self reliance
The Willowshed will begin offering classes in "Homesteading & Self Reliance" beginning in the Fall of 2011. Among the subject titles of classes that will be offered will be common household repairs, deck building, wine making, deer butchering, jam making, chicken flock keeping, and horse keeping. More classes will also be available.
All of the above skills were comman just a generation or two back but some how were lost in our push forward in the technolgical world. Many of the skills were practiced by young children. This knowledge will enhance the students world as well as saving money.
The ability to become self reliant is a good thing!!!!!
